Phone numbers are shared only with our SMS delivery provider, solely to send the messages you have requested.
In Short: We do not sell personal information. We share it only in the limited circumstances described below.
Funeral home and death care partners. Kelnah is delivered through funeral homes and death care providers. These partners have access to information associated with the services they coordinate, including attendee details and memorial content. Partners are contractually required to use this information only in connection with the services for which it was collected.
Service providers. We work with third-party vendors who help us operate our platform. These may include cloud hosting providers, SMS delivery services, payment processors, email delivery services, and analytics tools. Each provider is contractually required to protect the information we share and use it only as directed by us.
Professional advisors. We may share personal information with lawyers, accountants, and other professional advisors in the course of obtaining professional services.

In Short: Content you submit to a memorial or obituary page is visible to others with access to that page.
Kelnah pages are designed to be shared within a family's community. Tribute messages, photos, and other memorial content you submit to a page will be visible to others who access that page. Your phone number and email address are never displayed to other users and are not shared publicly.
Funeral home partners who manage a page have access to RSVP information, tribute content, and service coordination details associated with that page. Our agreements with funeral home partners prohibit them from using your information for purposes outside of supporting the service for which it was collected, or from contacting you outside of Kelnah for unrelated marketing purposes.

When information is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.
In Short: We use technical and organizational security measures to protect your information.
We have implemented reasonable security measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. However, no electronic transmission over the internet or digital storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.
